1st day at SJSU

It's difficult for me to describe in words how I've felt during my first day of "higher education" that I seem to have stumbled upon utterly unaware of what I was getting myself into. I must confess, it won't be a walk in the park by any means. I feel stripped of myself and everything I've grown accustomed to these last four years in high school. I've been placed amongst a sea of faces and most of the time I'm surrounded by people I've never met before. Yet by some unknown force I feel as though I must rise up above everything strewn before me so violently. I've chosen to keep my eyes on the prize. I know that I deserve to be on this campus among all of these people. I know I have a lot to offer. Although entering my first class was a bit overbearing, I am making it my primary goal to adjust quickly to my new set standards. I will give it my all.
